Yes, you will be assigned your own tractor; there is no slip seating.
How long am I usually out on the road?
Drivers typically stay out for a minimum of three weeks between home time.
What kind of freight will I be hauling?
You will be hauling 53’ dry van trailers through the Forward Air network. It is primarily drop & hook with some live load/live unload.
Do I have to take every load?
No, there is no forced dispatch; you choose the freight you want to run.
What are the requirements to drive for Tread Truck Lines?
You need 1 year of Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience, a good MVR/safe driving history, and must pass a DOT drug screen. A Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
