// PAY ENGINE

Driver payroll that builds itself from the settlement

Model exactly how you pay — once. Every week after that, FAST applies your rates to the parsed settlement and produces accurate driver pay in minutes, with a breakdown each driver can read from their phone.

01

A pay engine that fits real linehaul pay plans

Per-mile with driver-level overrides, percentage of trip revenue with fuel handled correctly, flat rates, tiered spot-rate tables, drop & hook, and per diem — configured once per driver or company-wide, then applied automatically to every settlement.

02

The pay week that took a day now takes minutes

No spreadsheet formulas to babysit and no math errors to apologize for. FAST calculates every driver from the parsed settlement, you review the run, adjust anything that needs a human call, and finalize.

03

Pay transparency that keeps drivers

Every driver gets a weekly pay breakdown in the driver app — trips, miles, rates, and deductions in plain language. Carriers tell us their drivers "LOVE the pay breakdown" because pay disputes drop when drivers can see the math.

04

Office staff too — time clock to pay run

Clock-ins from drivers and office staff build timecards that flow into a finalized staff pay run, with PTO handled in the same place. Hours are captured once, from phone to paycheck.

“FAST has simplified our lives! It truly helps track and manage truck maintenance and produce MMRs. Our drivers LOVE the pay breakdown they receive each week — it helps them understand their paycheck so much better.”

Frequently asked questions

Which driver pay structures does FAST support?

Per-mile (with driver-level overrides), percentage of trip revenue, flat rate per run, tiered spot-rate tables, drop & hook pay, and per diem — including combinations, and fuel components handled correctly before percentage calculations.

Does FAST cut the actual paychecks?

FAST calculates finalized gross pay for every driver and staff member from your real settlement and time data. End-to-end payroll processing with direct deposit and pay stubs is rolling out as an add-on; today most carriers push the finalized numbers into their bank or payroll provider.

How do drivers see their pay?

Each driver gets a weekly pay document in the FAST driver app showing trips, miles, rates, reimbursements, and deductions — which is why disputes drop after switching.

Can I pay different drivers differently?

Yes. Rates are set per driver with company defaults as fallback — a per-mile veteran, a percentage team, and a flat-rate casual can all coexist in the same pay run.
